What is Black, Queer, Feminism and how do we incorporate this lens into our daily lives? In order to dismantle oppressive systems, it is important to learn from Black, Queer feminist activists who paved the way for us to continue developing creative and supportive ways to uplift those whose voices are often silenced. We have the tools within ourselves to make small changes that can lead to positive impacts.
In this interactive workshop, we will break down the social constructs of gender, learn about formative Black Queer feminists and discuss ways to implement living with a BQF practice.
This workshop is intended for people of African descent. If you do not identify as Black, please do not sign up for this workshop.
